Meeting Unmet Needs: The Evolution of Housing and Aid in New London 1910-1950

Thesis

My thesis “Meeting Unmet Needs: The Evolution of Housing and Aid in New London 1910-1950” discusses the evolution of housing and aid programs in New London, Connecticut, specifically studying the ways in which organizers’ identities impacted relief programs. This work also includes an account of the Red Summer 1919 anti-black violence in New London.
